Tapatio Blanco Tequila is the standard 80-proof blanco from Tapatio — a Mexican cult favorite for over 80 years, made with 100% estate-grown blue agave from the highlands of Jalisco. Imported exclusively to the US by Charbay. Agave piñas are harvested by jimadores, slowly baked for 4 days, crushed to extract the mosto, fermented by an 80-year-old yeast culture, double-distilled in Tequilano pot stills, and aged 6 months in stainless steel.

Tapatio is one of the most respected small-production tequilas in Mexico. The 80-year-old yeast culture is among the longest continuously maintained yeast strains in commercial tequila production, contributing a distinctive flavor profile that distinguishes Tapatio from larger industrial producers.
